Purpose & Scope of the MoU
1. CREDIT TRANSFER & PROGRAMME ARTICULATION
- VIT agrees to recognize and accept academic credits from specific CCK diploma programmers, subject
to University Grants Commission (UGC) norms in India. - Creates a 2+2 pathway: students completing a two-year diploma at CCK may transfer into the
corresponding bachelor’s degree at VIT to finish their final two years. - BBA Pathways: CCK graduates from Accounting, Marketing, and Management & Entrepreneurship
diplomas are eligible to progress into the BBA at VIT (per curriculum & eligibility mapping). - Computing Pathways: Diploma in Computer Programming students at CCK may progress into BASc,
BCA or B.Tech programmers at VIT (programmer decided by curriculum mapping and eligibility).
2. STUDENT EXCHANGE & ENGAGEMENT
- Short-term study visits and training programmers hosted by each institution.
- Participation in bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral-level activities at the partner institution where
appropriate. - Scholarships may be offered to support the living expenses of exchange students.
- Invitations for CCK students to join VIT Summer & Winter Schools.
3. FACULTY EXCHANGE & ACADEMIC COOPERATION
- Joint teaching, curriculum development and the delivery of academic programmers.
- Sharing of expertise in teaching, research, industry practice and innovation.
- Co-organized academic events, workshops, seminars and conferences.
4. JOINT RESEARCH & PROFESSIONAL TRAINING
- Joint research initiatives, publications and reports in priority domains such as engineering,
technology, management and humanities. - Professional training programmers and short courses co-designed by VIT and CCK.
5. BRANDING & FUTURE COMMITMENTS
- Each institution may use the partner’s name and logo for agreed academic activities under this MoU.
- Exploration of a 3+1 transfer model and additional twinning programmers in areas of mutual
interest. - Collaboration on accreditation, curriculum licensing and regulatory compliance to keep pathways
robust and recognized.
