Dr. Reem AlQenai is a respected academic leader and Assistant Professor of English Language, serving as Chair of the School of Foundation at the Canadian College of Kuwait. She holds a Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics and is a CELTA-certified educator with more than 13 years of experience across top institutions in Kuwait. A prominent voice in language education, Dr. AlQenai also serves as President of TESOL Kuwait and actively collaborates with TESOL International, contributing as a reviewer for their quarterly academic journal. Her scholarly work spans second language acquisition, ePortfolios, curriculum development, language assessment, and the integration of educational technology. As Chair of the School of Foundation, Dr. Reem leads with a mission: to equip students with the linguistic fluency, academic skills, and personal confidence to thrive in higher education and beyond. She believes that a strong foundation in communication is the key to unlocking a student’s full academic potential.
